Christmas day is the birth day of Jesus Christ.This day falls on twenty of December every year.
Christmas all over the world commemorate this great day.Few days before this date we all get ready by cleaning over gradens, colour washing house. We buy new clothes and buy presents for our elders. On the Christmas day, early, morning we put on new suits for our children and parents and go to church.Presents by post. Small children get presents from Santa Claus.
He comes early morning. Children are very happy to meet him with his presents.
Christmas brings peace and happiness to all.

This’ love grass ‘is eaten by the cattle before the production of flowers.
It is a troublesome weed in pastures and lawns .
when a person steps over this grass its flowers stick to the clothers very firmly.
Perhaps it is named ‘love grass’ due to this reason.

It is also a good pasture grass.
It is difficult to destroy.

The mango tree is a large tree.
Those are grow every where of Sri Lanka and most of other countries mangoes are very a sweet fruit.
Every body most like eating mangoes.
We can see mangoes “gira mangoes, karthakolomban, mee mangoes”….. Etc.
Mango trees are use for make furniture.
That is a very strong timber.
Some people use that bildren houses.
So mango tree is a very useful three for us.

My pet dog “Jimmy”

My Pet is a dog.
It’s a female.
Her name is Jimmy.
She is brown.
It loves me very much.
I am very kind to her.
It is very fond of biscuits.
When I return from school I never forget the jimmy’s biscuits.
Daily my mother never forget to feel her.
Jimmy likes rice and curry.
If meat or fish is there she likes much.
It wants plenty of water to drink.
Bathing her is a big problem.
She is not greedy as others.
If the meal is late.
She never cry.
It is kept in a cage.
She never allows any out sider to come in to the garden.
It barks and protect us.
Jimmyis beautiful and playful if I quarrl with my brother for fun she will bark and jump on us.
