Paper Boats

September 6, 2008 by niluksheka

Paper boats are very interesting to watch.
When you are sending a paper boat you in an imaginary world.
During my childhood, when it raining.
I had a great pleasure of going out in the rain.
Some of my friends can make paper boats.
So they too make paper boats an enjoy with me in the rain.
They make several boats to me also.
We all use to float them in the drains.
My mother don’t like myself getting wet in the rain.
So one day she told “I will send you to India on your boat if you do not come home”.
“I thought what she told was correct.
On the next day when it was raining I made a boat from a large sheet of paper and told mother,
“Mother! I have made a large boat so that you and I can India in the same boat.
She told my father too and they all laughed at me.

The clock is for measuring time.
It tells us the time of the day.
In the ancient days People hat to watch the sun and the moon to know the time.
A clock is a wonderful machine.
A wound up spring movesna number wheels.
 Some are coggled wheels.
This helps the two hands to move round the face or dial of the hour hand and other the long hand hand the minute hand.
The dial is divided in to twelve aqual.
Porti between each portion is divided in to five units.
 Each unit is one minute.
When the long hand goes therough hound the Dail it makes one hour similarly.
When the short hand goes round the Dail it makes twelve hours.
To make a day this short hand. Should travel twice round the Dail?
The clock is an very important article  ofr our daily life.
It helps us to do everything in time and to time and to spend the day in a punctual manner.

A Rainbow

June 28, 2008 by niluksheka

A rainbow is a beautiful sight.

It is an arch of coloured light in the sky.

To see this rain and sunshie.

Should accur at the same time.

 What makes a rainbow?

Sunlight is made up of Seaven coloures.

 Violet, indigo, biue, Green, yellow,

Orange and red are the Colours.

When a ray of light is passed

Through a prism it splits in to these seaven coloures.

Similarly the falling drops of rain act like small prisms.

 They split up the white.

We see them in the rainbow.

It is a bow or an arch, made by the rain.

That is the main reason that

That there must be rain and sunshine at the

Some time for the formation of a rainbow.

When rain ceases, or the sun goes in the

 Rain bow fades away.

My Hobby

March 8, 2008 by niluksheka

My Hobby is reading. It may be a book, leaflet, poster, novel, story book or anything good that comes to my hand. I like to read and learn about people, places, incidents and inventions. I get books as presents. I am reading daily papers and weekend papers, magazines and Supplements. When you are selecting a book to read, you have to be very careful. You must read good books and take good ideas to you mind. You must not read vulgar books because only then you can agree with the old saying “Reading maketh a full man”. My email address:-       Rashmi.k6@gmail.com
